It will result in concrete commitments to be taken forward by all partners present to advance women’s empowerment. Women Lead Movement’s, Melene Rossouw moderated the panel analysing the Mckinsey Report. Significant hurdles remain for most African women seeking a better life. In society, there has been some progress in getting more women into influential positions in politics, but on the other measures of societal equality there is still a long way to go.
